This Friendship Quest represents Jel’s first friendship quest, offering a window into his artistic ambitions and the pressure he feels to prove himself worthy of his family’s legendary tailoring legacy. How to Complete A Look to Dye For Quest in Palia Discovering Jel’s Distress Upon initiating a conversation with Jel, you will receive the “A Look to Dye For” quest. Approach Jel at his shop in Kilima Village, notice his distressed state rather than his usual confident artistic persona, ask what’s troubling him to open the conversation, and listen to his explanation about the creative challenge he’s facing. He will ask you to help him obtain materials so that he may be able to use them in creating dyes and finishing his design. As such, you’ll need to get five Shells for his special purple dye. This quest entails collecting a total of 5 shells from the surrounding environment. Shells have distinctive characteristics that make them identifiable once you know what to look for. Prime Shell Gathering Locations To locate the shells, head to the Beachcomber Cave area and carefully search the beach surroundings for these shells. This popular location offers numerous shells along both sandy beaches and shallow waters. Additionally, the Lighthouse Lagoon area, located just north of the Beachcomber Cave, is an excellent spawning ground for shells. Both of these areas hold the potential to yield several shells for your collection. The first location is Coral Shores, northeast of Bahari Bay. Locate the Fast Travel board to reach the source of the lake here where shells spawn regularly along the coastline. Returning to Jel Head back to Jel and hand him the Shells collected to complete the quest. Engage in a conversation with him and select the dialogue option that states, “I brought you something!” This will serve as the conclusion to the quest. “The shells I needed for my dye! Thank you so much! With this act, you have become a true patron of the arts. May I one day prove worthy of your patronage.” Quest Rewards  FAQs What friendship level do I need with Jel to unlock this quest? You need to reach Friendship Level 1 with Jel before A Look to Dye For becomes available. Where exactly can I find shells in Palia? You need exactly 5 shells to complete Jel’s quest requirement for his purple dye creation. Can I find shells on land or only in water? Shells spawn both on sandy beaches and within shallow waters along the coastline, so check both areas thoroughly. How do I distinguish shells from other coastal foragables? Things are heating up between you and Tamala. Meet with her to discuss taking things to the next level. This Romance Level 2 quest represents a crucial milestone in your romantic relationship with Tamala, where she challenges you to complete various tasks to prove your feelings for her through concrete actions rather than empty words. After unlocking the romance option with Tamala, it looks like she wants you to complete various tasks to prove your feelings for her through perseverance, resourcefulness, and bravery. Now, this guide covers everything that is required to finish the quest successfully. Let’s begin! How to Complete A Date With Destiny Quest in Palia Receiving Tamala’s Challenge Letter After unlocking the quest, you’ll receive mail from Tamala expressing that “things are heating up” between you in ways that have nothing to do with spice sprouts. She invites you to stop by her chateau if you want her to take things to the next level. After unlocking the quest, go to Tamala and speak with her at her chateau to begin the first of three trials designed to test your worthiness as her romantic partner. The First Test – Catching a Bat Ray Now that you have gotten closer to Tamala, she has a few tasks she wishes you to complete to prove your feelings to her. She will tell you that the first test will be on perseverance and that you need to catch a Bat Ray. To prove your love, Tamala has requested you procure her a hard-to-catch specimen – a rare fish that tests your determination and patience. Players can find the Bat Ray fish inside the caves at any time of the day. Bat Rays can be fished in caves at any time whilst using a worm as bait.  Bat Ray locations include any cave or water body in Kilima Valley or Bahari Bay. Equip your fishing rod, attach worm bait to improve catch rates, cast into cave ponds consistently, remain patient as Bat Rays are uncommon catches, and collect the Bat Ray when you successfully catch one. After catching the Bat Ray, return to Tamala and show her your successful catch. However, she’ll have an unexpected reaction to your hard-earned gift. The Test of Resourcefulness – Catching a Leafstalker Mantis Tamala now challenges you to demonstrate resourcefulness by catching one of the rarest mantises in the game – the elusive Leafstalker Mantis. Both of these types are spawned in the northern areas of Bahari Bay, including the Flooded Steps, Proudhorn Pass, The Outskirts, the Thorny Thicket, and the Statue Garden. There is a chance of finding a Leafstalker Mantis by foraging for one. Although it is rare, they can also occasionally be found on the ground anywhere Sweet Leaves and Dari Cloves are found. However, they can be difficult to spot among the leaves and grass due to their dark green color.  After catching a Leafstalker Mantis, go back to Tamala and speak to her. However, her reaction to this rare specimen might not be what you expect. The Test of Bravery – Finding a Silverwing Egg Tamala’s next test for you is procuring a silverwing egg, found only in nests at the greatest of heights. Is she trying to date you or kill you? For the final task, Tamala will tell you to find and retrieve a Silverwing Egg. An area will then pop up on your map showing the general location where the Silverwing nest can be found in Proudhorn Pass. You can find the Silverwing nest containing the Silverwing Egg on the side of the cliff facing the Statue Garden. The nest is in the marked area in Proudhorn Pass, specifically positioned on elevated cliffs requiring climbing abilities. Finishing the Quest After finding the Silverwing Egg, go back to Tamala and speak to her. Upon finding the Silverwing Egg, return to Tamala once again at her chateau. Present the dangerous-to-obtain egg to Tamala, proving you’ve successfully completed all three trials of perseverance, resourcefulness, and bravery that she demanded. Quest Rewards As you complete the quest, you will recieve the following rewards: FAQs What friendship and romance level do I need for this quest? You need Friendship Level 3 or higher with Tamala, then gift chocolate or heartdrop lily to unlock romance, then reach Romance Level 2. Where exactly do I catch Bat Rays? Bat Rays can be fished in any cave ponds in Kilima Valley or Bahari Bay at any time of day using worm bait. How rare is the Leafstalker Mantis? The Leafstalker Mantis has only a 10% chance to spawn when foraging for Sweet Leaves or Dari Cloves in northern Bahari Bay. What’s the best way to find Leafstalker Mantis? Forage Sweet Leaves and Dari Cloves in northern Bahari Bay whilst watching the ground for naturally spawned mantises. Use Smoke Bombs to approach them. Where is the Silverwing Egg nest located? The nest is in Proudhorn Pass on the northeast side of the mountain facing Statue Garden, on the cliff face. The Palia A Date with Destiny quest transforms romantic pursuit into an adventure that demands dedication, creativity, and courage, whilst revealing Tamala’s true desire for a partner who proves their worth through actions rather than empty declarations of affection. A Bouquet of Sunshine Quest Guide in Palia

The Palia A Bouquet of Sunshine quest is one of those quests that takes you back to an emotional story linked to Ashura’s wife. It’s an easy quest but has a touching experience. You will be required to collect a special type of flowers that Asura’s wife used to like and bring them to her remembrance site. Meanwhile, you will get to know about the emotional story between Ashura and his wife.  There are multiple other quests similar to this one, such as Hunger Pains and It Takes a Village. But these aren’t the same in the story. This specific quest has an emotional touch that makes it a bit unique from others. Let’s jump into solving the quest.  How to Solve the A Bouquet of Sunshine Quest in Palia Initiating the Quest with Ashura Once you’ve reached Friendship Level 2 with Ashura, approach him at Ormuu’s Horn Inn in Kilima Village. Talk to Ashura and ask him about the picture above his desk during your conversation. His wife, Sabine, is a beauty! It seems like Ashura is having a difficult time bringing Sabine her favorite flowers to the Remembrance Garden. Ashura will tell you that in the picture, his wife died a couple of years ago and that he usually brings her favorite flowers to her remembrance site at this time of year. Gathering Five Sundrop Lilies For the A Bouquet of Sunshine quest, five are needed to create a proper bouquet worthy of Sabine’s memory. The most productive areas include Chapaa Crossing, Reflection Fields, and the area to the west of Remembrance Garden. These locations consistently yield multiple Sundrop Lilies within close proximity. You can also find a lot of Sundrop Lilies in the Leafhopper Hills area, particularly just west of the region where an open area contains various kinds of flowers. Locating Sabine’s Grave After collecting the flowers, you must head to the Remembrance Garden and find Sabine’s grave, which serves as the final resting place where Ashura honors his late wife’s memory. Sabine’s Grave is located in the Remembrance Garden, located on the southwest side of the map, just south of Kilima Village center. Go up the staircase to reach the remembrance site. Sabine’s grave marker is located very close to the central altar. It is located right in front of the altar in the center of the location. Look for a small incense bowl to the left when standing in front of the altar and facing away from it. You can easily distinguish it from the smoke from the incense rising from the memorial bowl. Placing the Bouquet Players can interact with Sabine’s shrine to drop the Sundrop Lilies at her remembrance site. Stepping closer to the grave, you will see the drop flowers option appear. Approach Sabine’s grave marker with your five Sundrop Lilies, interact with the memorial site when the prompt appears, select the option to place the flowers, and watch the touching scene as the bouquet is laid in Sabine’s honor. After you place the bouquet, the quest objective updates, directing you to return to Ashura with news of your completed tribute. Return to the bar and chat with Ashura about the successful flower placement. You can speak with Ashura again, and he’ll thank them for bringing the flowers to Sabine’s memorial. You need exactly five Sundrop Lilies to create a proper bouquet for Sabine’s grave. Where are the best places to find Sundrop Lilies? The most reliable locations are west of Remembrance Garden, Chapaa Crossing, Reflection Fields, and Leafhopper Hills. How do I identify Sundrop Lilies? They resemble tulips and glow on the ground, making them distinctive from other flowers in sunny grassy areas. Where exactly is Sabine’s grave located? Sabine’s grave is in the Remembrance Garden southwest of Kilima Village, near the central altar with an incense bowl marking the spot. What rewards do I receive for completing this quest? You receive 20 Renown, 100 Sapwood logs, and 100 Heartwood logs, plus improved friendship with Ashura. So, basically you recieve a letter from Zeki and he seems to be a bit disturbed due to his dream. He wants you to help him find its meaning.  All you need to do is visit multiple villagers and try to get the meaning of each piece that Zeki has seen in his dream. And finally, you have to collect kind messages from different villagers for Zeki and assemble them in the Candy Box to surprise him.  How to Solve the A New Year to Remember Quest in Palia Receiving Zeki’s Distress Letter After finishing the Wishes in the Wind quest, wait for the next mail cycle. You’ll receive a letter from Zeki stating that “something real fishy” is happening and he needs help with some troubling dreams he’s been experiencing. Approach Zeki at the market and listen as he explains the “something real fishy” that’s been troubling him – a series of recurring dreams that he can’t understand. Zeki will tell you that in his dream, the stars started exploding, he had to jump over boiling lava, and then a windstorm kicked up a bunch of wet papers that got stuck on him. After he extensively explains these “weird dreams” he’s been having, three key details emerge that can provide meaning into what’s troubling Zeki. The three dream elements: Zeki is at a loss about what his dream means and says that you can ask around on his behalf to see what it might mean. Consulting Villagers About Dream Meanings Ask the villagers at the Market to interpret the dream. You can speak with Chayne, Delaila, Eshe, Hodari, Kenli, Kenyatta, Najuma, or Reth to help decode the symbolism. Finding the meaning of exploding stars:  Talk to Najuma and Reth to discover that exploding stars could be fireworks. Speaking with Najuma gives you the meaning of exploding stars, which Delaila interprets as suppressed feelings or emotions. Finding the meaning of boiling lava:  Talk to Reth to understand the boiling lava symbolism. Speaking with Reth gives you the meaning of boiling lava – it could be soup, representing emotions ready to burst out. Finding the meaning of soggy paper:  Now, for the meaning of this piece, you need to Delalia. She mentions that Soggy Paper reminds her of the Wish Ribbons. Next, head to Hodari, but he won’t mention anything useful. So, we will meet Kenyatta, and then finally we will speak to Najuma.  Reporting Your Findings With the help of Reth and your fellow villagers, you’ve deciphered the meaning of Zeki’s eventful dream. It’s time to share your findings with Zeki himself. After finding out the meaning of Zeki’s Dream, talk to Reth for his additional insights before returning to Zeki with your complete interpretation. Return to Zeki and tell him what you found out. Go to Zeki and talk to him while he is at the event to share all three interpretations you’ve gathered. Reporting to Chayne Now that you have deciphered the meaning of Zeki’s dream and learned his true feelings about the wish-making tradition and the Luna New Year. It’s time to report everything back to Chayne. Find Chayne and talk to him while he is at the event. Discuss the current situation at the Maji Market with Chayne and share what you’ve learned about Zeki’s dreams and feelings. Collecting Well-Wishing Messages Chayne will give you his Journal (Chayne’s Journal) to record kind messages for Zeki from other villagers. Take Chayne’s journal and collect seven well-wishing messages for Zeki from villagers at the Market. Gather kind words about Zeki from market residents by speaking with Delaila, Eshe, Hodari, Kenli, Kenyatta, Najuma, and Reth. Ask these seven villagers to contribute their heartfelt messages. Approach each villager at the Maji Market and request their kind words for Zeki. The journal automatically records their messages as you speak with them. Deliver the gathered data to Chayne by showing him the journal filled with seven heartfelt messages from Zeki’s friends and neighbors. Return to Chayne with the completed journal containing all seven well-wishing messages for Zeki. Presenting the Messages to Zeki Return Zeki’s candy box containing all the collected messages. They can bring this box to Zeki, who’ll read three of the messages to players before learning profound truths about his family. Zeki discovers that he has reexperienced the Luna New Year festival not with his biological family but with his adopted one in Kilima Village. This touching moment represents the quest’s emotional core. Feeling sentimental about the experience, Zeki hands his Wish Ribbon for Chayne to hang in the Wish Tree, which concludes the A New Year to Remember event quest. Palia Mystery Cargo Quest Guide: Zeki’s Secret Black Market Letter

Palia Mystery Cargo Quest

The Palia Mystery Cargo quest gets you to reveal a secret about Zeki. But in order to reveal it, you will need to visit Reth in his store room and open a mysterious box. The quest involves obtaining a key first through fishing, and then getting a letter from the locked box.  Mystery Cargo is a Discovery Quest given by Reth after completing the quest Piece of Cake. This quest focuses on uncovering the contents of a mysterious locked box in Reth’s storeroom, leading to discoveries about the Underground Market’s operations and the complex relationships between its operators. Find the key to the box and discover what secrets lie within Zeki’s carefully guarded cargo in this fascinating quest about trust, secrets, and black market dealings. If you have been eagerly waiting to finish this quest, then follow this guide.  How to Complete Mystery Cargo Quest in Palia Meeting Reth Once you have reached the required friendship levels and completed the Piece of Cake quest, speak to Reth once again, and you should get a few dialogue options to choose from. Now, you have to select “What’s in that locked box?” Once you do that, a pop-up will appear indicating the Mystery Cargo quest has begun. Starting the conversation: The box in question is on one of the tables off to the right side of the room and will have a shimmer around it. Asking Reth about it, he states that Zeki threw the key “where no man can survive.” Reth will tell you that Zeki has thrown the key where “no man can survive”. This hint leads to water, which means the key is somewhere in the water of Kilima Valley. The cryptic clue suggests an aquatic location rather than a dangerous combat area. Fishing for the Small Key Now, you have to find the key to satisfy your curiosity! The key can be found in any water in the Kilima Village while you are randomly fishing.  However, it’s recommended to fish in the river behind the tavern to increase your chances of finding it sooner rather than later. This specific location yields the highest success rate for catching the Small Key. Whilst the river behind the tavern offers the best chances, you can technically fish the key from any spot that has water in Kilima Village if you prefer exploring different fishing spots. Opening the Mysterious Box & Reading the Mysterious Letter Once you have got your hands on the small key that looks like it would fit the box in Zeki’s storeroom, you can return to the Underground Market and locate the mysterious box that Reth pointed out earlier. Accessing the box: As you open the box, there will be a letter that tells some secrets about Zeki.  While you will receive a pop-up explaining that you won’t steal the letter, you will still be able to read the letter. This allows you to learn the contents whilst respecting property boundaries. The letter reveals information about Underground Market operations, connections, and possibly sensitive details about Zeki’s business dealings that provide context for the secretive nature of the cargo. Confronting Zeki About the Letter Ask Zeki about the letter. Talk to Zeki to complete the quest and discuss what you’ve discovered in the mysterious box. Final conversation: Approach Zeki and initiate dialogue about the letter you found. His response provides closure to the mystery, whilst potentially affecting your relationship and understanding of Underground Market dynamics. Quest Rewards Upon successfully completing the quest, you will be rewarded with 500x Gold.  FAQs How do I start the Mystery Cargo quest? Complete the Piece of Cake quest and reach friendship level three with both Reth and Tish, then ask Reth, “What’s in that locked box?” Where exactly is the Small Key located? The key is obtained by fishing in any Kilima Village water body, though the river behind the tavern offers the best catch rates. What does Reth’s cryptic clue mean? “Where no man can survive” refers to water – the key was thrown into a water body in Kilima Village. How long does it take to catch the Small Key? The key is a rare catch that may require anywhere from several minutes to multiple fishing sessions, depending on luck. Can I keep the letter after reading it? No, the letter remains in the box – you read it but don’t steal it, respecting property boundaries. What’s actually in the mysterious box? The box contains a letter revealing information about Underground Market operations and Zeki’s black market dealings. How to Complete Palia Keyed in Quest Discovering the Pulsing Key You can find the Pulsing Key while gardening in Palia to begin the Keyed In quest, a key step in avoiding an explosive end. The discovery happens during routine gardening activities on your personal plot. Finding the Pulsing Key: All you have to do to find it is use your Hoe on your Housing Plot. Sooner or later, you will unearth the Pulsing Key. The key appears as a random drop whilst tilling soil, similar to other buried treasures you might discover during farming. Consulting Jina About the Mysterious Key As with all other Kilima Village mystery items, you need to take this one to Jina. She serves as the village’s primary expert on ancient artifacts and mysterious objects. Locating Jina: Jina’s alarming revelation: Jina will tell you that the Pulsing Key isn’t actually a key, but a Flow bomb called the Unstable Unlocker. This shocking discovery transforms what seemed like a simple mystery into an urgent crisis. The explosive truth: The “key” is actually a dangerous magical device that could explode, making its safe defusal a priority for both your safety and the village’s well-being. Learning About Your Plot’s Previous Owner To disarm it, you’ll need to learn more about who previously lived on your land. Jina explains that the bomb’s defusal requires specific knowledge about Florian, the eccentric inventor who once occupied your housing plot. You can spend your time talking to all the residents of Kilima Village, but the three you want to speak to are Elouisa, Eshe, and Ashura. These NPCs hold crucial information about Florian and his mysterious past. The crucial information needed to defuse the bomb involves learning the name of Florian’s pet Palcat. This seemingly trivial detail holds the magical key to safely disarming the Unstable Unlocker. Through your conversations with the above specific village elders, you’ll discover that Florian’s pet was named One-Eyed Sheremy – a distinctive name that reflects the cat’s unique appearance. Defusing the Flow Bomb Speak to Jina again, and she’ll tell you that to defuse the key’s magic, you’ll need the name of Florentine’s pet. Return to Jina with the information you’ve gathered about Florian’s beloved Palcat. Tell her that Florentine’s Palcat name was One-Eyed Sheremy, and the key will be safely defused. Jina uses this information to perform the magical defusal ritual, eliminating the explosive threat. She’ll thank you and decide to keep the key permanently, so it doesn’t cause any future problems. The dangerous device is safely neutralized and removed from circulation. FAQs How do I start the Keyed In quest?
