Palia: Like a Bird Quest Complete Guide

like a bird palia quest

Like a Bird is a Main Quest given by Jina upon completion of Ancient Battery, and it’s your pathway to obtaining the essential glider tool in Palia. This quest allows you to fly like the grand eagle and soar the skies with your trusted glider, which can be acquired during the Like A Bird quest with Najuma in Palia. Requirements to Unlock the Quest To unlock the Like A Bird quest to get your Glider, you’ll first need to complete several of the main quests, especially the previous quest in the chain, The Ancient Battery. As you explore the ruins during the quest, you’ll come across a chasm you cannot fully cross. This creates the narrative need for a glider, setting up the next quest in the chain. You should also have completed the following quests. How to Complete Like a Bird Quest in Palia The quest involves several steps that you must go through in order to complete the quest. I have explained everything here: Getting the Quest from Najuma Once you have completed the Ancient Battery quest, Jina will assign you the quest Like a Bird. She will give you the tips and some explanation regarding the quest, such as you will have to cross large gaps. Also, she will suggest that you get help from someone relevant.  The quest takes you to Bahari Bay, where you have to find a girl named Najuma. Bahari Bay is located in the east of Kilima Village. Once you are there, find Najuma near her workshop, which is located in the central area of Bahari Bay.  Now, all you have to do is speak to her and explain the situation. She will agree and ask you to bring her all the required materials for the production of the Glider. When the quest is active, you can ask her to make a glider, and she will only need the relevant materials.  Gather Required Materials For the glider making, you will need to get the following materials: Sapwood Planks, Fabric, and Leather. Here’s how you can get each one of these: Sapwood Planks: Sapwood can be obtained by cutting down trees on your housing plot or in Kilima Village. Simply chop the trees and then transform them into planks.  Fabric: To get the Fabric, you will need to process the Cotton or other Fiber materials at a Loom. Now, you can obtain it from your own crops, or it can also be purchased from a shop. Leather: Obtaining the Leather requires using the hide of an animal called Sernuk. You will need to hunt down Sernuk, which can be found in multiple areas of both Kilima Village and Bahari Bay. Once you have got the hide, you can use it on a Tanning Rack to obtain the Leather. Return to Najuma After you have collected all the materials, it’s time to get back to Najuma. Head to her workshop and give her all the material, and she will quickly make a glider for you.  How to Use Your New Glider Equipment and Controls When you have newly obtained the glider, you must equip it in the accessories slot of the Player Menu. Now, whenever you fall from any space, just hit the jump button to activate the glider. Make sure the glider is equipped before you try to make a flight. Otherwise, you will simply fall on the ground.  How to Glide After equipping the glider in the accessories section, you can jump from any position and press the jump button again to bring out the glider. This way, the glider will automatically be equipped whenever you jump from the minimum height. With the glider equipped, it will be a lot easier for you to cover major gaps with ease.  Rewards Here’s what you will get after finishing the quest: Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) Can I get multiple gliders or upgrade my glider? No, you can only get one glide from this quest, and you can customize it later through the available options. And there are actually no upgrades for it; the functionality remains the same throughout the entire game.  What happens if I accidentally sell or lose my glider? You cannot sell or lose the Glider as it is a permanent item once you have obtained it. Although if you feel like you have lost it, you may check your inventory again or restart the game to remove any possible temporary bug.  Do I need to repair or maintain my glider? No, there is no requirement to repair your glider. It has an unlimited durability, which means it will never receive any sort of damage. Once you have obtained it, you can use it as much as you want without ever worrying about getting it damaged.  Can I use the glider indoors or in caves? The glider only works in outdoor areas where there is enough space. It cannot be used in caves or any other indoor spaces.  How high do I need to be to use the glider effectively? You need to be falling from a reasonable height for the glider to deploy properly. Small jumps or drops won’t activate it – you need to jump from cliffs, buildings, or other elevated positions. Final Thoughts The “Like a Bird” quest is one of Palia’s most impactful upgrades, transforming exploration and travel throughout the game. While gathering materials takes some effort, the glider’s freedom of movement makes it absolutely worthwhile. Remember to speak with Jina immediately after completing Ancient Battery to avoid progression bugs, and take time to enjoy your first flight – the aerial views and newfound accessibility make this a truly memorable gaming milestone.

Palia Ancient Battery Quest Guide

Palia Ancient Battery Quest

The Palia Ancient Battery quest serves as your gateway into the mysterious Temple of the Waves, featuring one of the game’s most cleverly designed riddles. I’ve completed this quest numerous times and discovered all the essential tips and shortcuts that’ll help you solve this ancient puzzle with confidence. This is quite an easy and pretty much straightforward quest, unlike Proof of Magic and others. Continue reading this guide to solve the quest in the easiest possible way.  Understanding the Ancient Battery Quest Jina has informed you that what you discovered was, in fact, an ancient Human battery! She’s requested you try it on the door behind the waterfall in Kilima. This Main Quest represents your first major temple exploration experience and introduces the broader mystery of ancient human civilisation. The quest becomes available after you send an item off to Jina and receive the Ancient Battery via your mailbox with specific instructions to travel to Phoenix Falls (The place where you get the Phoenix Shrine quest). Quest Starting Requirements How to receive the quest: What you’ll need: Pro tip: Always keep your watering can filled before heading to any temple – you never know when you’ll need it! How to Solve the Ancient Battery Quest in Palia Entering the Temple Using an Ancient Battery Jina will instruct you to place the Ancient Battery on the door located behind the waterfall. To achieve this, proceed to the Phoenix Falls area and cross the bridge, heading northward. To reach the temple door, travel to Phoenix Falls in the northern area of Kilima Valley, then cross the main bridge and head towards the waterfall area. Look for the large golden door positioned behind the waterfall, and use your quest marker if you have trouble finding the exact location. Approach the large brass door behind the waterfall, interact with the door to use the Ancient Battery, and watch the door mechanism activate as the battery powers the ancient technology. Once you enter the temple, you will find a large brass bowl positioned in the centre of the room, an ancient riddle plaque explaining the challenge, and small pools of water around the temple area for refilling. Solving the Ancient Battery Riddle The riddle asks you to “supply that which grows life” to the central bowl mechanism. The solution is quite simple; to “supply that which grows life,” you must equip your watering can and pour water into the basin until the meter fills, just like you would while watering your plants at home. The answer is basically, Water! This is indeed the solution to the Phoenix Falls Waterfall Shrine riddle in Palia. Now, players should fill up their watering can with water from the surrounding stairwell below. Use the watering can to fill the bowl in the middle of the room with water. Watch the filling meter progress until the bowl is completely full. Watering cans can be filled from the small pools of water nearby. If you arrive without water, don’t worry – you can refill it in any shallow water source within the temple area. Once the bowl is full, the riddle is solved. A short cut-scene activates, showing the temple’s response to your successful puzzle solution. The brass door will open, and Jina and Hekla will come rushing to see what happened inside. Talk to Jina about the mysterious chamber. Follow-Up Quests Completing the Ancient Battery quest unlocks additional temple-related storylines and exploration opportunities. The Temple of the Waves becomes a significant location for future adventures. FAQs What do I do if I don’t have a watering can? You should have received a basic watering can early in the game. If you somehow don’t have one, craft a Makeshift Watering Can using basic materials. Can I complete this quest without water? No, water is essential for solving the riddle. However, you can always refill your watering can from the small pools inside the temple. How long does this quest take? Most players complete the Ancient Battery quest in 10-15 minutes once they understand the water bowl mechanics. What happens if I can’t find the temple door? Use your quest marker to navigate to Phoenix Falls, then look for the large golden door positioned directly behind the main waterfall. Do I need any special skills for this quest? No special skills are required beyond basic tool usage and the ability to operate a watering can. The Palia Ancient Battery quest provides an excellent introduction to temple exploration while showcasing the clever riddle design and ancient mysteries that make Palia’s world so engaging to discover.

Palia A Catalyzing Caper Quest Complete Guide: Conquering the Temple of the Flames

A Catalyzing Caper Quest Palia

The Palia A Catalyzing Caper quest represents one of the most challenging temple adventures in the game, taking you through complex mazes, arrow puzzles, and sliding tile challenges. I’ve completed this quest multiple times and mastered every shortcut and solution to help you navigate this fiery temple successfully. Before tackling this temple adventure, you’ll want to familiarise yourself with the Plumehound Pilgrimage completion guide to maximise your success in these ancient ruins. Quest Prerequisites and Essential Preparation Starting Requirements Once you finish the Plumehound Pilgrimage Quest, Hassian and Sifuu will head over to the Temple of the Flames and unlock the door, automatically making A Catalyzing Caper available. Critical Equipment Needed Pro tip: Stock up on arrows before entering. Running out mid-quest means backtracking to craft more. How to Complete A Catalyzing Caper Quest in Palia Meeting Your Team Talk to Hassian inside the temple entrance. Although you’ve made it through the front door, there’s another locked door on the inside that requires your archery skills to open. Your companions: The First Arrow Puzzle Opening the first door requires shooting symbols on the torches positioned on either side of the entranceway. The correct order is indicated on the arches above you. To solve the door puzzle, you’ll need to look up at the arches above the locked door and identify the symbol sequence displayed there. Next, shoot the corresponding symbols on the torch bases in that exact order, then watch the door open once you’ve hit all symbols correctly. Accuracy tip: Take your time with each shot. Missed arrows waste ammunition and delay progress. Exploring the Massive Chamber You’ll enter a massive room showing clear evidence of what happens when Flow and magic go awry. This impressive chamber contains multiple treasure opportunities. For effective treasure hunting, head left first to find a chest with valuable loot, then continue left to spot another chest on a distant cliff. Glide over to collect the second chest, and don’t worry about falling in lava as you’ll simply respawn at the starting point. Find Hassian and Sifuu standing in the centre of this massive room. Talk to both of them – Sifuu will share some snacks with you, like any good mum on a field trip. Investigating the Mysterious Mural Head right and go through the door leading to the next section. You’ll find a small room containing a mural, a brazier, and mysterious mechanisms. Mural chamber steps: Conquering the Three-Part Maze The maze splits into three distinct sections, each with unique challenges and navigation rules. In the first maze section, follow the golden rule by sticking to the wall method, take every left turn consistently, and light your torch at the brazier near the end.  The second maze section requires you to climb the ladders to reach the upper level, light the brazier next to the mural before proceeding, and look back for a hidden path leading to another treasure chest. For the main route, make only right turns to find the exit and light your torch at the exit brazier.  In the third maze section, watch out for lava underneath the pathways. Don’t panic if you fall, as you’ll respawn at the section start, work methodically to the end, and light the final brazier to unlock the door back in the foyer. Maze exit: Glide back the way you came and speak with Hassian to return to the foyer. The Second Arrow Puzzle Back in the foyer, you’ll notice the blank murals are now filled with images from your maze exploration. These murals have associated symbols that give you the shooting order for the final door puzzle. Second puzzle solution: The order of the story provides the sequence of symbols you need to shoot on the torch puzzle. Shoot the targets underneath the torches in the correct order, and the door between the torches will open. Key insight: The mural story sequence directly translates to the symbol shooting order. The Final Chamber Challenge Head inside to discover the final chamber where you’ll see Tau on a platform in the distance. Somehow, this clever plumehound managed to bypass all the locked doors through sheer determination and good boy powers. Crossing to Tau: The Sliding Tile Puzzle You’ll discover Tau has found a Kitsune friend – apparently a good enough reason to brave a dangerous lava temple! Complete the final sliding tile puzzle to finish the quest. Tile puzzle solution (11 moves total): Puzzle tip: This tile puzzle is more challenging than the one in Echoes of the Unknown. Follow the sequence exactly for success. Rewards With the tile puzzle completed, you’ll have successfully conquered the Temple of the Flames and unlocked significant new content. Immediate unlocks: Achievement opportunities: Return Journey Options Hassian will offer you a quick exit from the Temple of the Flames. You can accept his offer or spend time exploring the temple to read the fascinating lore scattered throughout the area. FAQs What happens if I run out of arrows during the quest? A Century in the Making Palia – Full Walkthrough

A Century in the Making Palia - Full Walkthrough

Palia A Century in the Making quest started when I spotted some glowing dirt that turned out to contain the most disgusting package I’ve ever encountered, but helping Reth figure out his ancient cooking disaster made for one of the more entertaining storylines in the game. Have you noticed weird shimmering patches of dirt while wandering around Palia? Those aren’t just random environmental details – they’re hiding Reth’s forgotten culinary experiments. Maybe you’re coming from crafting adventures like Brick by Brick, and you’re ready for something completely different. Now this quest is pretty much the same as other discovery quests, such as Trapped in Time, but obviously, this has a different story and very different outcomes. This whole questline revolves around Reth’s attempts to master traditional egg preservation techniques that have been driving him mad for ages. I have covered everything regarding this quest, so let’s jump in.  What’s A Century in the Making Quest Actually About? Reth’s been trying to crack the secret of making proper Century Eggs, which involves burying ingredients for extended periods. The problem is, he’s scattered his experiments all over Palia and completely forgotten where he put them. Your job is basically playing archaeological cleanup crew for Reth’s cooking disasters. The quest splits into two parts, each involving different buried packages that reveal his progress (or lack thereof) with this ancient preservation method. It’s a nice break from the heavier storylines and gives you insight into why Reth’s always experimenting with weird food combinations at the inn. Starting Requirements This quest kicks off naturally through exploration, so there aren’t strict prerequisites: How to Complete A Century in the Making Palia Quest Here’s how to help Reth recover his buried food experiments and master his century-old recipe. Part 1: The Disgusting Discovery Your adventure begins when you stumble across an unusual dirt mound that’s giving off a suspicious glow. Finding the first experiment: When you open this package, you’ll discover something that smells absolutely horrific. Whatever Reth buried here has definitely gone off in ways that weren’t intended. Finding the rightful owner of this rotten mess isn’t particularly difficult if you know where to look. Obviously, this rotten mess belongs to someone, and you’ll need to figure out who. If you’re feeling a bit stuck, have a chat with Ashura at the inn, who’ll gladly point you in the right direction.  The mysterious Reth (our likely culprit) tends to follow quite a predictable schedule throughout the day. You can typically find him munching away at the inn during standard meal times. When you finally track down Reth, his reaction is pretty amusing. He’ll explain his Century Egg project and admit this particular experiment didn’t go according to plan. Part 1 completion rewards: Part 2: The Successful Experiment Reth’s got more buried experiments scattered around, and the second one is significantly more promising. Locating the second package: This discovery is far more encouraging – whatever preservation technique Reth used here actually worked properly. Return the Egg and Wait Bring this successful experiment back to Reth, who’ll be thrilled that at least one of his attempts worked out. Reth will examine the preserved egg and take samples for his recipe development, then he’ll promise to share the results once he’s perfected the technique.  You’ll need to check your mailbox after waiting a full day in-game for his follow-up communication, and his letter confirms he’s managed to recreate the dish successfully and made it available at the inn. Part 2 completion rewards: What This Quest Unlocks Beyond the immediate rewards, completing this storyline opens up some nice long-term benefits. Permanent additions: The quest also hints that there might be more culinary mysteries to discover as the game continues to develop. A Century in the Making – FAQs How do I spot the special dirt patches?  They have a noticeable shimmer or glow effect that makes them stand out from regular dirt areas. Where exactly is the first buried package?  Under the main bridge that connects Kilima Valley to Bahari Bay, explore the area beneath the bridge structure. What about the second package location?  Near the old lighthouse in Bahari Bay, specifically around the geyser area on the lighthouse’s eastern side. How long before Reth sends the completion letter?  Wait one full day in-game time before checking your mailbox for his message. Are Century Eggs worth buying regularly?  At 200 gold each for 150 Focus, they’re decent value if you need Focus boosts for activities. Final Thoughts  Palia A Century in the Making quest perfectly captures the game’s blend of exploration, character development, and gentle humour. Reth’s reactions to his cooking disasters are genuinely entertaining, and the quest gives nice insight into traditional preservation techniques. Finding those glowing dirt patches, dealing with Reth’s experimental cooking gone wrong, and eventually helping him succeed – it’s a satisfying progression that doesn’t take itself too seriously. The rewards are practical too, giving you both immediate benefits and access to a useful Focus-boosting food item that becomes available permanently.

Plumehound Pilgrimage Palia – Tau’s Gone Missing & Zeki’s Flowstones Locations

Plumehound Pilgrimage Quest in Palia

Palia Plumehound Pilgrimage quest started when Hassian sent me this cryptic letter about Tau going walkabout, and I spent two hours tracking paw prints through Bahari Bay like some sort of demented detective. You’ve probably got the same letter in your mailbox, haven’t you? Maybe you’re coming from other investigation quests like Underground Affairs or Trapped in Time and expecting similar discovery mechanics. Perhaps you’ve completed Look to the Sky or Fit for a Watcher, and you’re ready for more complex tracking challenges.  Now, you must be wondering how Hassian’s relationship with Tau connects to those themes. This quest had me properly confused initially because Hassian’s usually so straightforward, but suddenly he’s being all mysterious about his dog’s whereabouts. Turns out there’s more to this story than just a missing pet. You will even have to find the flowstones for Zeki. Overview of Quest Plumehound Pilgrimage Tau’s picked up an interesting scent trail and wandered off to investigate, which has got Hassian worried sick. Your job is to track down the wayward plumehound and figure out what’s caught his attention. This quest connects to some major story elements involving Flow technology and ancient ruins, so it’s not just a simple “find the lost dog” mission. There’s proper lore and discovery involved. Hassian’s relationship with Tau runs deep, and seeing him genuinely concerned about his companion adds some nice character development to his usual stoic personality. What You Need Before the Plumehound Pilgrimage Starts Don’t attempt this without meeting these requirements: How to Complete Plumehound Pilgrimage This quest invovles different tasks like meeting Hassian, tracking down the trail, and discovering what Tau was actually looking for. I have fully explained each task down here: Talking to Hassian About His Letter The first step is finding Hassian and getting the proper briefing about what’s happened with Tau. You’ll need to find him at his usual spots around Bahari Bay and discuss the letter contents – he’ll explain Tau’s disappearance in detail.  Make sure to get directions to his camp in the northern area and understand what you’re looking for – specifically, Tau’s scent trail that you’ll be following. Hassian’s genuinely worried about Tau, which is quite touching, really. The big tough hunter getting anxious about his dog shows his softer side and adds some nice character depth to his usual stoic personality. Begin Tracking at Hassian’s Camp Head north to Hassian’s camp area to start following Tau’s trail. This is where your detective work begins. You’ll need to look for paw prints around the camp area, but they’re not hugely obvious, so pay close attention to the ground rather than expecting them to jump out at you.  Once you spot them, follow the direction the prints are heading and most importantly, don’t rush – it’s easy to lose the trail if you’re not careful and try to speed through this section. The tracking mechanic isn’t complex, but you need to actually look for the visual cues rather than expecting quest markers to guide you everywhere. This is the meat of the quest – following Tau’s path through various locations in Bahari Bay to see where he ended up. Trail following tips: I lost the trail twice because I was trying to rush through it. Take your time and actually follow the prints – they’re there for a reason. Discover What Tau Found Eventually, the trail leads to Tau’s discovery – something significant enough to capture a plumehound’s attention for hours. The discovery: I won’t spoil exactly what Tau discovers, but it’s definitely worth the tracking effort and ties into larger story elements. Talk to Sifuu & Zeki, Then Collect Flowstones for Zeki After discovering what Tau found, you’ll need to gather five Flowstones to help repair the Flow Battery that’s essential for temple access. A total of 5 Flowstones are scattered around different spots in Pavel Mines. These are the glowing stones that stand out from regular rocks. Flowstone Near a Ruin Look for it near the water’s edge, right where a Pavel Mines tunnel breaches the wall beside the ruins. Flowstone Near an Exit Check the spot in the image for the exit Flowstone. Right now it’s bugged, so you probably won’t find it until the developers fix it. Flowstone Near Water Check the underground pond (the one with the little docks) at the bottom of Pavel Mines for the water Flowstone. Flowstone Near Barrels You’ll find the Flowstone next to the two barrels at the top of Pavel Mines. Flowstone Up High This Flowstone is in the vertical shaft near the top of Pavel Mines. Climb to the highest entrance and drop down the shaft until you spot it. Flowstone collection tips: Deliver Flowstones to Zeki Once you’ve collected all five Flowstones, you need to take them to Zeki so he can repair the Flow Battery. Now it’s time to work with Zeki. Head to the Underground via the entrance beneath the General Store and meet him at night between 6:00 PM and 3:00 AM (Palia time).  Give him those five Flowstones along with the Damaged Flow Battery, and he’ll refine the Flowstones into Runefuel and craft an Overcharged Battery for you. He only operates after dark, so if you show up during the day, he won’t be there. Return to Sifuu with the Repaired Battery The final step involves bringing the newly repaired Overcharged Battery back to Sifuu to complete the quest. Meeting Sifuu: Quest completion triggers the next storyline: A Catalyzing Caper What Plumehound Pilgrimage Unlocks This quest continues the main storyline and reveals important information about Flow technology and ancient Palian history. It also strengthens your relationship with Hassian and connects to several other major questlines. Connected quest storylines: The discoveries made during this quest become relevant in later story quests, particularly those involving ancient Palian technology and the mysterious Flow systems. FAQs How do I get Hassian’s letter to start this quest?  Complete Echoes of the Unknown and Vault of Waves first. The letter arrives … Read more

Underground Affairs Palia Quest – Complete Guide

underground affairs quest palia

Palia Underground Affairs quest requires you to meet Zeki in the Underground Market, which is accessible through the General Store. Then you need to get some spy work done on Zeki after completing some tasks, and finally return to Subira to finish the quest.  You might have received the quest and you are not sure about the next steps, or you might have found the entrance, but can’t figure out how to convince Zeki. Well, you are not the only one who is facing these issues. I was too trapped in it. Underground Affairs is like various other quests in Palia, such as Silver Winging It & Proof of Magic. This whole underground business feels like a fever dream the first time you attempt it. Zeki mentions his “underground affairs” but conveniently forgets to mention that his market is hidden behind a wall that looks exactly like every other wall in the mines. Backstory of the Quest: Underground Affairs in Palia Subira from The Order has assigned you to investigate Zeki’s underground operations and gather evidence of his illegal activities. What starts as simple surveillance quickly becomes you getting recruited into his black market network. The quest involves proving your worth to Zeki by obtaining an illegal Enchancing Draught from Tamala, delivering it without getting caught by Eshe, and ultimately gaining access to the underground trading network that operates beneath Kilima Village. This quest connects directly to multiple other storylines, including the One Step Behind quest about tracking Tamala, and sets up the Search and Seizure subplot if things go wrong with Eshe. Prerequisites for Underground Affairs These are the kind of requirements for this quest; without these, you won’t get the quest. So make sure that you have achieved each one of these: How to Complete the Palia Underground Affairs Quest So, the quest begins when you receive a letter from Subira. As soon as you read the letter, the quest will be added to your journal. Once you have got it, here are the next steps: Receive Orders from Subira The quest begins when Subira assigns you to investigate Zeki’s suspicious activities and gather evidence of underground trading. Once you have the quest, talk to Subira about The Order’s concerns regarding illegal activities. Receive instructions to investigate underground operations. Understand the mission – gather evidence without arousing suspicion. Prepare for undercover work in Zeki’s network Subira’s quite serious about this investigation, which tells you just how significant Zeki’s operations have become. Meet Zeki in the Underground Market The Underground Market can be accessed through the back of the General Store counter. Once you’ve accessed the underground area, you need to locate Zeki and convince him to let you join his operation. Find Zeki among the various underground vendors and stalls. He’ll be suspicious of your presence initially. Convince him you’re interested in joining his network. Regardless of dialogue choices, Zeki will test your commitment. The underground market is quite extensive, with multiple vendors and trading areas that show the scope of Zeki’s operation. Get Assignment to Retrieve Tamala’s Potion Zeki will ask you to prove your worth by obtaining a special potion from Tamala as your initiation task. Zeki’s test: This is where the quest gets properly dangerous – you’re now actively participating in illegal activities. Gather Ingredients for the Enchancing Draught Before Tamala can brew the potion, you need to collect four specific ingredients scattered around Palia. Required ingredients: Ingredient gathering tips: This ingredient collection phase can take quite a while, especially if you’re not prepared with the right tools and knowledge of spawn locations. Visit Tamala for Potion Brewing Once you’ve gathered all four ingredients, head to Tamala to have her brew the illegal Enchancing Draught. Find her at the stables or her usual locations. Present all four ingredients for the potion, and she’ll brew the Enchancing Draught using your materials. Receive the completed potion. Now you’re carrying illegal goods. Tamala’s quite casual about brewing illegal potions, which gives you insight into how widespread these underground activities actually are. Deliver the Potion to Zeki (Avoiding Eshe) This is the most nerve-wracking part of the entire quest. You must deliver the illegal potion to Zeki without getting caught by Eshe. Do not talk to Eshe while carrying the Enchancing Draught. Avoid areas where Eshe commonly patrols and head directly to the underground market entrance. If caught by Eshe, it triggers the Search and Seizure subquest. Speaking to Eshe at any point while carrying the Enchancing Draught will cause her to confiscate it, and the subquest Search and Seizure will begin. After successfully delivering the potion to Zeki, you’ll gain full access to his underground trading network. Market integration: Report Back to Subira The final step involves returning to Subira with evidence of Zeki’s underground operations. Find Subira to report your findings. Provide evidence gathered during your undercover work. Complete the investigation successfully and receive rewards for your undercover work. What Underground Affairs Unlocks Completing this quest gives you permanent access to Zeki’s black market network, which connects to several other quest lines involving Reth, smuggling operations, and underground commerce. You’ll also unlock new vendors and trading opportunities that aren’t available through regular Kilima Village merchants. FAQs Where exactly is the underground market entrance?  You can get access to it from multiple locations, one of them is hidden behind the general store counter. There is a back entrance that takes you to the underground black market. What friendship level do I need with Zeki?  You need decent friendship progress and completion of relevant main story quests first. Can I bring friends to the underground market?  The quest itself is solo, but friends might be able to help you find the entrance location. Final Thoughts Palia Underground Affairs quest is way more complex than it first appears, involving illegal potion brewing, undercover investigation work, and serious consequences if you mess up the delivery. The ingredient collection for Tamala’s potion, avoiding Eshe during delivery, proving yourself to Zeki – … Read more

How to Complete the Quest Trapped in Time Palia

palia trapped in time quest

Palia Trapped in Time quest randomly triggered while I was chopping trees in Bahari Bay, and suddenly I’m holding this weird amber fossil with absolutely no clue what to do with it. If this sounds familiar, then you are at the right place. You might have got the same fossil sitting in your inventory right now, wondering if it’s junk or something important. Or maybe you know it starts a quest, but can’t figure out where to begin. That’s pretty much the same stuff that happened to me.  The thing about this quest is that it doesn’t announce itself like the others, such as Proof of Magic does. One minute you’re minding your own business chopping Heartwood trees, next minute you’ve got ancient amber with a dead bug inside. Charming. But here’s the thing – this quest is actually brilliant once you get going. It just takes a bit of detective work to get started properly. What’s This Trapped in Time Quest is All About? This is what they call a “Found Item Quest” – basically, you stumble across something weird and it kicks off a whole investigation. In this case, you’ve found an amber fossil with some prehistoric insect trapped inside. Jina’s the archaeologist who can identify what you’ve found, and from there, you get to choose which villager receives the fossil as a gift. Different villagers give different rewards, so there’s actually some strategy involved. The quest name makes sense once you think about it – that poor bug’s been literally trapped in time for who knows how long. Prerequisites for Starting Trapped in Time Honestly, this quest can catch you completely off guard. You must have these things complete before you even think about getting the quest: Unlike other quests, there’s no level requirement or prerequisite chain. You just need to be chopping the right trees at the right moment. How to Complete the Palia Trapped in Time Quest Here, I have fully explained the walkthrough for this quest. I would suggest you follow each step carefully and do everything in the same manner to successfully finish it. Getting the Amber Fossil (If You Haven’t Already) Some of you might be here because you heard about this quest but haven’t found the fossil yet. Fair enough – here’s how it works. Finding the amber fossil: I got mine after about the fifteenth tree, but I’ve heard of people getting it on their first go. Pure lottery, really. Taking the Fossil to Jina for Identification Once you’ve got the amber fossil, you need to find Jina to figure out what exactly you’ve discovered. Now it’s time to find Jina. Check Mirror Pond Ruins first, that’s her usual hangout. You can check out the Kilima Village library if she’s not at the ruins. Look for her icon on the map; it will save you from wandering about aimlessly. She moves around during the day, so don’t panic if she’s not where you expect. When you show her the fossil, she’ll get properly excited about it. Turns out you’ve found something quite special – an ancient insect preserved in amber. Who knew tree chopping could be so educational? Choosing Which Villager Gets the Fossil This is where things get interesting. After Jina identifies your fossil, you get to choose which villager receives it as a gift. Each one offers different rewards, so choose wisely. Your options include: My advice: Pick based on which villager you’re trying to build friendship with, or check online for specific reward comparisons if you’re after particular items. I went with Tamala because I needed her friendship points, but honestly, any choice works fine. Delivering the Fossil and Claiming Rewards After deciding who gets the fossil, head over to your chosen villager and complete the handover. Now it’s time for the delivery. Find your chosen villager during their usual schedule and simply give them the fossil through the quest dialogue. Collect your rewards; they vary by recipient. Once you have done that quest, completion will register automatically. The rewards are decent regardless of who you choose, and you get the satisfaction of turning a random tree drop into something meaningful. Different Rewards from Different Palians Since everyone always asks about this, here’s what I know about the different reward options: Each villager has unique rewards: I can’t list exact rewards here because they sometimes change with updates, but all options are worthwhile. What Opens Up After Trapped in Time? Completing this quest doesn’t unlock specific follow-up quests, but it does give you valuable rewards and friendship gains with your chosen villager. The amber fossil discovery also adds some nice lore about Palia’s ancient history and the creatures that lived there before. FAQs What trees drop the Amber Fossil?  Only large Heartwood trees in Bahari Bay. Regular trees and small Heartwood trees won’t work. How rare is the Amber Fossil drop?  It’s random, but not extremely rare. Most players get it within 10-20 large trees chopped. Can I get multiple Amber Fossils?  The quest only requires one, and I’m not sure if you can find additional ones after completing it. Which villager gives the best rewards?  Depends on what you need – gold, materials, or friendship points. All options are decent. Where exactly is Jina located?  Either at the Mirror Pond Ruins or the Kilima Village library. Check your map for her icon if you can’t find her. Final Thoughts Palia Trapped in Time quest is one of those pleasant surprises that makes exploring feel worthwhile. You’re just going about your business, chopping trees, and suddenly you’ve discovered something ancient and mysterious. The random nature of finding the fossil keeps things interesting, and choosing which villager gets it adds a nice decision-making element. Plus, Jina’s enthusiasm when you show her the fossil is genuinely endearing. It’s not a complicated quest by any means, but it’s executed well and feels rewarding to complete. Sometimes the simple quests are the most satisfying ones. To complete the Palia Trapped … Read more

Fit for a Watcher Palia Quest

palia fit for a watcher quest

The Fit for a Watcher Palia quest is quite a simple quest, but it took so much of my time because I didn’t know that I needed specific materials. And these aren’t exactly common, and the most interesting part is that furniture plans hide in the weirdest spot in your crafting menu. I know you are thinking about how to unlock the quest in the first place. Or you might be unable to find the furniture plans Tish gives you. Don’t worry, because these are the same issues that everyone else is facing in this quest. This quest is actually all about impressing a Watcher from The Order who’s coming to investigate, and Eshe wants everything perfect, which means loads of crafting and material gathering for you. The Back Story of the Fit for a Watcher Quest in Paia The Order is sending a Watcher called Subira to investigate the strange happenings around Kilima – mainly the sudden reappearance of humans like yourself. She’ll be staying at the inn, and Eshe wants to make sure everything’s absolutely perfect for her visit. Your job is to help Tish design and craft some special furniture that’ll impress the Watcher and show Kilima in the best possible light. No pressure, right? Eshe’s basically having a complete meltdown about making a good impression, so you’re stuck doing the actual work while she panics about protocol. What You Need Before Starting the Fit for a Watcher Quest There are some requirements to get this quest; here’s all of it: How to Complete Fit for a Watcher Palia Quest? The solution involves some steps that everyone has to go through. Follow each step carefully, and you will solve the quest in no time.  Talk to Eshe to Start the Quest First, you need to find Eshe and get the quest started. She might be at City Hall or wandering around the village, depending on the time of day. Finding Eshe: She’ll explain about Subira coming to investigate and how important it is that everything goes perfectly. Typical Eshe, really. Meet with Tish About the Furniture After getting the quest from Eshe, you need to find Tish to discuss the furniture requirements for the Watcher’s room at the inn. Working with Tish: Find Tish at her usual crafting spots, and she’ll explain what furniture pieces need to be made. You’ll get plans for four specific items: Here’s the annoying bit – these plans don’t show up under the Furniture tab in your crafting menu like you’d expect. You have to scroll down to find them in the main list under “I” for “Investigator.” Took me ages to figure that out. Gather Materials for the Furniture Now comes the proper grind. You’ll need quite a lot of materials to craft all four furniture pieces for the Watcher. Materials you’ll need: Top tips for material gathering: The material requirements are quite hefty, so don’t expect to knock this out quickly unless you’ve been stockpiling. Craft All Four Furniture Pieces Once you’ve gathered everything, head to your crafting station and start making the furniture. Remember, the plans are hiding in the main list, not under Furniture. When you are crafting the furniture, make them one at a time – don’t rush and waste materials. Double-check requirements before starting each piece. Have backup materials ready in case you need extra. Place completed pieces in your storage until you’re done. The crafting process is straightforward once you find the plans, but it does take time and quite a few materials. Return to Tish to Complete the Quest After crafting all four furniture pieces, head back to Tish to finish up the quest. Quest completion: The rewards are pretty good for the amount of work involved, and you’ll unlock the next quest in the chain. What Happens After Fit for a Watcher Quest? Completing this quest unlocks Your Order is Served, which continues the storyline with Subira the Watcher. You’ll get to meet her properly and see how your furniture choices worked out. This quest chain is important for the main story progression and introduces some key characters who become significant later on. FAQs How do I unlock this quest?  Complete Eshe’s citizenship quests first, including Prove Your Worth. You need her trust before she’ll give you this quest. Where are the furniture plans in my crafting menu?  They’re in the main list under “I” for Investigator, not under the Furniture tab like you’d expect. How much Flow Wood and Palium do I actually need?  Quite a lot – plan on spending significant time gathering materials. Check each recipe for exact amounts. Can I craft the furniture at any workbench?  You need the proper furniture crafting station. Make sure you’re using the right workbench type. What if Eshe won’t give me the quest?  Make sure you’ve completed all her prerequisite quests. The citizenship quest chain is essential. Final Thoughts Fit for a Watcher Palia quest is basically a massive crafting project disguised as a story quest. Once you know where to find those sneaky furniture plans and you’ve stockpiled enough materials, it’s straightforward enough. The key points: earn Eshe’s trust first, find Tish for the furniture plans, gather loads of Flow Wood and Palium, craft four pieces of fancy furniture, then return to Tish for your rewards. It’s worth completing because it continues the main storyline and introduces Subira, who becomes important later. Plus, the rewards are decent for a crafting quest. It’s not hard to finish off the Fit for a Watcher Palia quest. All you need to do is prepare and know where those furniture plans are hiding in your crafting menu.
